Richland Chambers Reservoir Lake Level
April 28, 2008 on 11:54 am | In Uncategorized | No Comments The Lake level on Richland Chambers Today is 3/4 of a foot above normal. the water temp is from the mid 60’s to upper 60’s. Water is somewhat stained but not bad. Gates are open so fishing is a little off. Danny King’s Catfish Bait Spinner Baits Fishing GPS units Other Catfish Baits We still Have some Good size Black Bass up shallow Spawing. Most being caught on watermelon seed lizards and also spinner baits. 6in to 4ft of water has been the best depth with several in the 5 to 7lb range. Crappie are still being caught shallow right against the bank. Mostly coming on minnows but jigs are also working. They should start moving out any day now to their summer pattern. Catfish are great on rod&reel fishing shallow windy banks shallow with shad or Danny King’s Bait If no wind fish 10 to 15ft around standing timber. Jug lines doing good in 12 to 18ft of water baited with live perch. Sand Bass are good in 20 to 25ft of water on slabs or tailspinners. Mainly being caught around humps or points. Also some good catches trolling in these areas.
